Our family moved into a dream of a home just days after Christmas. I am the consummate and constant little decorator so you can imagine how much fun I am having working to turn this house into a home. Admittedly, there is always a bit of stress that goes along with my type of ‘fun,’ think DIY projects gone wrong, new pieces that don’t quite fit or just simply being frustrated at how long the process of ‘settling in’ takes. God is teaching me to slow down and enjoy the process.

I thought it would be fun to show you bits and pieces of the home as it comes together, not necessarily entire room reveals since much of what is waiting to be accomplished either requires lots of time or lots of money, both of which are in rare supply over here. 😉

I want the space to feel bright and airy. Less officey. More homey. The desk area is well on its way.

I am slightly obsessed with my work table/packaging station.
This little table houses all my packaging goodies (and printer and paper) and is where I assemble all my lovely packages each day.
There is a place for everything and everything in its place.
