This summer has flown by. It seems as though it went by even faster than usual and my heart is mourning the freedom that summer brings. My three little ones and I journeyed to Virginia last week to visit with family and friends. It was a joy to see my little ones experiencing a taste of my childhood… climbing trees and catching lightning bugs, building campfires and roasting marshmallows, running barefoot (although Andrew prefers his shoes… as does his little sister ;)) and playing with cousins until the moon is high in the sky.
