Summer Bucket List | Intentional Mama Series by Ashlee Proffitt

Hey mamas! Summer is half-way over!! That’s crazy!

I am mourning that just a bit since I love having my littles home with me. They drive me crazy but I still would rather be a crazy and have them near than sane and not have them within arms reach. Anyone else feel the same way?

With the summer flying by we are making a point to seek intentionality and purpose with our kids and I wanted to encourage you to do the same. Before you know it they will be heading back to school so why not make the most of this time you have together?! For this week’s Intentional Mama series I wanted to share with you our Summer Bucket List! I just got these out (we have been using the same cards for the past two summers and just add as we go) and am going to hang them up today!

My goal is to print a photo of us completing these bucket list items and pin it up with the bucket list as a sort of memory wall. I am positive my kiddos will love that! I hope to share an after picture of the memory wall once summer is over with all the memories we made.

To help you get your Summer Bucket List started I have included our list below.

  • go to the beach
  • make chocolate covered frozen bananas
  • build a sandcastle
  • tie-dye t-shirts
  • water gun fight
  • water balloon fight
  • run through the sprinklers
  • play tag at the park
  • build a fort
  • watch a sunset
  • go to the zoo
  • have a cookout with friends
  • make ice cream
  • paint the driveway with sidewalk chalk/paint
  • go to a Ray’s game
  • family bike ride
  • go see a movie
  • make s’mores
  • picnic at the park
  • go to the library
  • watch fireworks
  • go on a hike
  • memorize a bible verse
  • stay up late and watch a movie
  • night swim in the pool
  • build legos (even mommy)
  • make banana splits
  • go to the waterpark

Do you have a Summer Bucket List? If so, what are your favorite things to do with your kids?

I’m off to go play with my kiddos and thinking maybe we will tackle a few of these today!
