Sseko Leather Ribbon Sandals & Crossbody Bag | Ashlee Proffitt

I know, I know. It’s not summer any longer and in fact the majority of the country is not interested in sandals at least for the next 7 or 8 months but guess what, here in Florida we wear sandals year round. Especially when they involve ribbons and I can tie them in a cute bow.

So just in case you also wear sandals year round I thought I would introduce you to my new favorite sandal from Sseko.

Lace-up sandals may be trendy right now but I expect for these beauties to be around for awhile. They are handcrafted from caramel leather and extremely comfortable. You can tie the laces in more than 50 different styles or change them out for one of the many different colors or patterns available. The gold cap detailing on the leather spaghetti strap ribbon is my favorite!Sseko Leather Ribbon Sandals | Ashlee ProffittSseko Leather Ribbon Sandals | Ashlee Proffitt

The sandals are really comfortable and because you can tie them dozens of different ways they can fit nearly any outfit. I’ve worn them with jeans, shorts, dresses and skirts. And the quality is superb!

And remember these sandals are doing more than providing me with stylish and comfortable footwear for my Florida weather, they’re providing opportunities for education and employment to women in Uganda. Last year I wrote this post about swimsuits. And about all the body insecurities that seem to constantly plague me. Interestingly enough, writing a blog post about said insecurities doesn’t magically make them disappear. Another year older and another year battling the lies about what it means to be beautiful. Another year making intentional decisions to […]
