WHAT DOES “BRAND EXPLORATION” MEAN?
In order to create a strong and genuine brand, hard foundational work must first take place to ensure the brand identity we create reflects your core values and vision for your business; that process is known as Brand Exploration. I will help build this foundation through a series of questions you will complete on your own and the consultations we will have together.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE LOGO DESIGN PHASE?
You will receive 4 different logo design options upon the initial design phase. The initial concept will include various fonts, layouts and styles. Upon your feedback we will narrow down the options and refine the designs to create your new logo.
WHAT DOES BRAND DEFINED MEAN?
Your Brand Definition is in essence a guide to your own brand and includes a description of your ideal client as well as your specific branding elements, final logo, secondary logos and/or icons, font choice and color palette specification (including RGB, CMYK and Web Safe color codes) and lastly patterns and/or textures.
WILL I RECEIVE MY LOGO FILES?
Yes! You will receive all you need in order to launch your brand successfully. Included in your Brand Files will be:
- Final logo (in all color ways, including black, white and a watermark / file types: .eps, .pdf, .jpg, .png, .psd)
- Secondary logos (in all color ways, including black, white and a watermark / file types: .eps, .pdf, .jpg, .png, .psd)
- Icons
- Color palette specification (including RGB, CMYK and Web Safe color codes)
- Patterns and/or Textures (12”x12” 300dpi .jpg files)
These files will be yours to have and use as you need. They can be used in a variety of design programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. You can also use them in programs such as Microsoft Word as an image if necessary. Helpful article on understanding file types. PSD is Photoshop, EPS is Illustrator, PDF can viewed by any PDF viewer such as Adobe Reader.
Fonts are not included. Design files are an additional fee.
WILL I RECEIVE MY COLLATERAL FILES?
Yes! You will receive the following:
- Print collateral – (pdf format)
- Digital Collateral – (.jpg format)

WHERE DO I HAVE MY DESIGNS PRINTED?
To have your branding vision come to life is honestly my favorite part of the branding process! When designing your collateral pieces, I always have a clear vision of the type of printing processes you should use. I have options for every budget and am happy to recommend printing resources. When we get to the client experience portion of the design process we will have an in-depth consultation to discuss your vision, including ideas for print.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE MY BRANDING OR WEBSITE?
I only take on 1-2 clients per month to ensure you receive my best attention and of course, a quick turn-around. The overall process takes anywhere from 6 – 8 weeks depending on the package you choose. When you reserve your spot I will provide you with a detailed contract with all of the deadlines. This will ensure that you know exactly when you will receive each piece of your beautiful new brand.
DO YOU HAVE PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes! I understand that this is a big investment and am more than happy to offer 2 payment options:
- Option 1: $500 due at signing, 50% due on project start date and 50% due upon project completion.
- Option 2: $500 due at signing, three equal payments due six weeks apart.
I’M A TERRIBLE WRITER, CAN YOU WRITE MY CONTENT/COPY?
While I love writing, I like to leave my clients’ content to those who do it best, the professionals! I would be happy to recommend a professional if you are interested!
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO GET IN TOUCH WITH YOU?
I am in my office on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9am-3pm. The rest of the week you can find me intermittently during a nap time here and there. I am a wife and mama first and while I absolutely love the work I do here, I love my family even more. I keep strict office hours and limit my workload to just the 1-2 branding clients a month to ensure deadlines are met and quality, creative work is being produced. Thank you for your patience!
