This weekend was busy. Crazy busy.
I am not sure I even had a chance to sit down and catch my breath.
But I am thankful for the craziness because it meant:
celebrating your best friend’s birthday over an amazing meal and wonderful conversation full of laughter and meaningful spiritual encouragement
celebrating a sweet new life being born very soon
spending a morning with women who love the Lord with all of their hearts and together asking Him to pour His grace on this mama as she prepares to bring another sweet baby into the world
spending some quiet time asking the Lord what His plans are for this business as I attempt to plan out the remaining months of 2012 and begin planning 2013
Aaron and I getting a little date night while celebrating with a friend who’s business is being greatly blessed (he’s in the cabinet business and he just opened a new showroom full of beautiful model kitchens. He celebrated by hosting an open house with amazing food! So yummy and so fun!)worshiping my Savior with my brothers and sisters in Christ
investing in 2 amazing women who I have come to adore and spending time praying over our small group and planning for the week to come
celebrating another sweet new life being born very soon and loving on a sweet lady that I had not seen in way too long
celebrating my sister-in-law’s birthday with hugs, laughs, girly presents, and chocolate
preparing to start this week off with purpose and intentionality, not leaving room for frustration on a hectic busy Monday meant cleaning up the house and packing lunches
Like I said, this weekend was crazy busy. And yet, it was so wonderful. I am so grateful that I have friends to celebrate with, a husband who lovingly cares for our little ones while I attend endless sweet baby showers, for a church body that is growing and clinging to Christ, for family to love on and a house to clean.
How was your weekend? Maybe your weekend looked similar to mine, if so, I hope you can see the blessings amidst the craziness.
