Happy October!
In general, fall can be a difficult time for our family. My second born son, Aaden Sage was born on October 8 and his 4th birthday is next week. However, he does his birthday celebrating with Jesus since he passed away when he was just 5.5 weeks old. The past few years have been very difficult to say the least and this time of year is especially hard. All the things I used to love about fall left my heart aching, longing for a son who was not here.
However, I am choosing to be filled with joy this season. I am choosing to celebrate the few short weeks we had with our sweet boy and that means celebrating this wonderful time of year. This does not mean I miss him any less, and maybe I even miss him more today than yesterday or the day before, but God is merciful and gracious and has promised me an eternity where I shall remember these things no more… He will wipe away every tear. Today I am reminded of Philippians 1:6 “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” God started this work in me, to bring Him glory, and He is faithful to complete it.

Some computers will allow you to right click your mouse and give you the option: “Set as Desktop Background.” If not, right click and simply save the image to your computer. Then, change the background in your computer settings.
