Last weekend I had the exciting privilege of working with Shay Cochrane on the amazing Essentials Workshop. The Essentials Workshop is a branding and business workshop for photographers. This workshop, held in Richond, Virginia was our second Essentials Workshop this year. It has been years in the making as Shay and I have been growing, learning and building our own businesses as well as our expertise in the areas of business and branding. We have taught together for years and combining our love for teaching with our love for helping creative entrepreneurs was the logical next step.

Over the course of two days we met a group of incredible women and spent invaluable time investing in their businesses. We built lasting relationships as we shared fears and failures, asked hard questions and challenged one another to think deeply about what we really wanted from our businesses.

We heard from two phenomenal guest speakers who blew my mind with their knowledge. Casey Templeton and Cyn Kain, you two are incredible and I walked away having learned much from your expertise. Thank you for spending two days with us and being willing to share your knowledge with us!
