Happy 2016 sweet friends!
December was amazing as we really gave space to celebrating and enjoying Christmas together as a family. We slowed down and said yes to some things and no to lots of other things in the hopes of making time with the littles and one another and with family of utmost priority. We finished out the year and rang in the New Year in Washington D.C. and it was absolutely perfect. (I am looking forward to doing a post on all of our favorite spots while we were there!)
I have one goal for January: pray and ask for direction for 2016, especially this first quarter. Lara Casey‘s Powersheets are my tool of choice for this planning and prepping time. While watching a Powersheet video last Thursday, Lara said something so powerful that I rewinded, wrote it down and have been replaying in my mind since:
“He (Jesus) knew that in order to make good, wise, strong decisions, He must first spend time with His father.”
So that’s what I’m doing. Spending time in the Word and in prayer, asking for, pleading for, direction and wisdom and discernment; that He would make His will known and that I would be about His kingdom, not the building of my own.

To use Desktop Wallpaper: Click on the links below, and save the large image to your computer. Then set it as your desktop wallpaper.
To use iPhone Wallpaper + Lock Screen: Click on the links below, and save the image to your photos. Open your camera roll, select the image and click next. A box should pop up with icons (message, mail, copy, etc.) choose ‘Use as Wallpaper.’ Scale or position the image to your liking and then select ‘Set Lock Screen.’
